Hi Sept Mommies here,

I'm Oct mummy-to-be but dropping by to say hi & Congrats to all of you!
Saw a few mummies having some little problems that i'm experiencing too.
I also had headache a few times and there's once quite bad. Now the headaches comes on and off... hmm is this ok?
And now my gum around wisdom tooth start to swell... Wonder is this the cause of the headaches...

DELvy & mrs eg, how are both of you feeling?

Hi BBlin, nice of u to drop by... Im better nw. Still abit swollen at my gum area bt at least nw can bite already. There was a time where biting vermicilli feels painful.... Better drink more water n vit c. Gargle n brush properly even though it is painful... At least gargle w mouthwash more often... If gets worse better to consult doc... The headache might be the gum problem tooo...

As for Delvy. I think it is normal to hav headaches (read frm book) but if really unbearable tink u better tell ur gynae too... Most impt is dun let the headache deprive u of adequate rest/slp...

I am new here... would like to share my joyful with all the moms .. now i preggy wit 15 weeks..

wonder anyone here that can advise me what kind of blood test i shld go for, as my gynea asked me how many types of test i would like to do but this is my 1st pregnancy so i have no idea.. wonder anyone can help?

my next appt will be next wed..so hope that can have some infor which test shld i go for then i can decide on it...

u are not toking abt the blood test to test for down syndrome in OSCARS rite...

Honestly i didnt know wat blood test was done... But if im nt wrong i did the "full blood count" blood test tat test if im anaemic.

I read tat there are blood test to test for so many things: blood grp, immunity against rubella, hep B, etc.

But I tot ur gynae suppose to recommend u wat to test?!?

Isst too early to go now ? Actually, I'm not sure what to buy also.
I guess they will have such fairs again..

I also wanted to go to the Congress one..
Maybe i should go if they gg to hold 1 again.

from the last appt with the gynea she asked me what kind of blood test tat i would like to do and i tole her i dont neo , i told to recommen to me what shid but after that she did not explain to me anythings...

maybe wait fro next appt and ask her again.. cos i am blur too dont neo what i shall do during this period of time..hahahah:embarrassed:

Aiyo y the gynae never explain more to u?? Nxt b more brave to ask n bug ur gynae if nt u will kp thinkin abt it the whole time b4 nxt appt... Hehehe

Im also frm Thomson Medical Center... but under Dr Adelina Wong... My EDD (according to the last scan) is 18 Sep... and this is my 11th week...

So how? 1st tri going to 2nd tri... seeing any changes to your tummy???

Have you heard off Dr Kek Lee Phin too (Women's specialist @ Bt Batok)?
Having headache which gynae to go to...

hi, yesterday i went for scan and my gynae managed to check my baby gender :)
btw, i also heard that 13weeks should be able to know the baby gender liao.:001_302:
maybe u can try asking your gynae to check for you haha..:Dancing_tongue:

wow.. youre lucky! i went for my scan last week when i was 13 weeks and my gynae told me that he would be able to tell me only after 16 weeks.. counting down now..

Dr wong
1. Very friendly/nice/gentle
2. No pressure at all when I ask her a list of qns.
3. She will patiently/clearly ans all qns.
4. Not sure abt her price compared to others. Bt i think among the private sectors hers is quite reasonable.
5. Friendly n helpful nurses.
6. read b4 in other forum thread that her stitching skills is gd
7. No negative comments i can say so far
8. Will definitely reccomend her

Then again it is my first baby.. Cant comment abt the labour part... N i nv heard of the other gyn u mentioned.

Wah really?! Cool!!! They say if boy easier to see, so yours a boy? :)

So cool!!! Cant wait till my nxt check up at 16 wks.. Still a loooong way... Will hav to pick up anenatal package at 16wks already... Money again....

So exciting! When I went for my scan last Thur, on the 15th week, my bb's legs were closed! My gynae indeed said that if the bb had been cooperative, we could have seen the gender on that day. So when she tried scanning again, my bb's legs closed even tighter than before...the 2 legs crossed, infact:shyxxx:

some of the girls were previously saying drink cold sweet drinks b4 the scan... the baby will be more active... hahaha.... try on ur next trip!
