Another question to mommies whose water bag had been purposely broken by their gynae. Do you feel anything during the bag breaking process? For me, the gynae's hand went into my cervix to pull and grab the bag a few times before the cut by the hook was successful. Could feel her hand movements...

I had just gave birth a few months ago and had suffered much during and after delivery. Hope my experiences (see here) serve as a lesson to all the future mummies here. Do Choose your Gynae and Delivery Hospital very carefully!!

The wound open up after the threads were gone :(

My gynae said no need to do anything, just let the wound heal by itself. So wonder if anyone did the same thing?

I went to her again the moment I saw the open wound with a mirror. I asked her how did that happened but she didn't say anything. What I was sure is before that visit (a week after the birth, I can feel the thread knot(s) and threads when washing), but after the visit, cannot feel the thread...

Thanks CanCanMum and SunBurst for your replies. I meant the whole thread came off leading to open wound. I suspect my Gynae cut off part of the thread during my visit a week after birth because I could feel the thread 'head' during washing prior to the visit but the thread 'head' was gone after...
