Just to share a news, domestic helpers are soon getting HK citizenship after they stay there for numbers of years. That means less supply in SG, less maids are coming to SG to work.....

You can hire nanny from NY or LA, just buy an air ticket and fly the lady from NY to Chicago. I used to live in US. However, most of them speak cantonese, it's hard to find someone who can speak mandarin.
