Yup. He asked his nurse to guide me with the procedures and also direct us to the financial couselling counter. Actually we also clueless abt classic package but we mention that we hope that he will deliver our bb personally.

Hmm.. Frm my understanding, the gynae wil deliver bb in both classic & premier package.. The only difference is for classic, the on duty doctors wil attend to u until e moment u gonna deliver den our gynae wil come.. For premier, gynae wil always access to u.. Ttz y i oso preferred to sign for premier but was told that it must b offered to us.. ;( so my next visit wil ask my gynae about it..

I gave birth in KKH last yr Nov, stay in A1 ward, My gynae is Prof Han, went through normal delivery, 2 night stay package

My total bill is about $5000 plus.
minus CPF
minus government subsidy,

i pay upfront about $900.

Yap they will give a brown pink diaper bag which i find is really nice but i dont like the kkh logo haha so i nvr use. The bag is pack with quite a lot of sample freebies etc.

yupp i love the kk brown/pink diaper bag, very convenient to just sling it over my shoulder and carry baby... i added on a fun pin over the logo to hide it hahahha

btw i was in ward B1 last mth, classic package. luckily my labor was not too long, my gynea came to deliver my baby and stitched me up!
I find that it's not necessary to have gynea throughout labor if we dun have any complications during pregnancy. And even if anything happens (touchwood) all the specialists are right there in the hospital!

paid deposit 900 and total bill abt 2k plus. normal delivery, only 1 night stay for me. i think some of my deposit will be refunded as most of the bill cut off from medisave and hubby's staff benefit (he's in healthcare).
