There is this new set-up known as The Tanglin Tree, located at the Friven Building opposite Tanglin Mall.daerius said:
Basically, it's a bistro with a section for our older children: sand-pit, flying fox, tree house, etc.
For the meet-up, I suppose we are only obliged to order at least a drink for ourselves (ie spending no more than $10 each), with our Nov 08 babies in tow ... while our older children gets to run around & have their fun, at no extra costs.
If a safer "playground" for our older children is desired, then we could look at meeting up at Go-Go-Bambini inside Dempsey.
But I guess it will be less convenient for those who are not driving.
However, I'm not sure if these places will be over-crowded during the weekends though.

I guess we can always call to make a reservation ... & while doing that, we could also check with the staff on the best window to be there during the weekend, in order to avoid the crowd.daerius said:
