I find this forum very useful and m glad to see so many mummies here sharing information.
I'm now into my 2nd trimester. 16weeks. GOing for my 4th month scan this sat.

my gynae just told me dang gui is a no no... pao sheng or ginseng she ask me to check with my TCM GynaeActuali I read about it to...some also say no dang gui...I tink is quite subjective bah....maybe I stop ginseng lst and chk with gynae again...hehe....kiasu plus kiasee
... as for birdnest ... can and up to me though she find that the skin of her 1st child (with birdnest taken) and 2nd child (w/o birdnest ) no diff but it is up to us whether we want to eat or not Hi, oic.... I call up and chk with my gynae was told okie.... I tink is up to individual and subjective leh...is more like our own personal health condition and also most important is the gynae believe or support it....haha...

Having my 2nd baby and EDD date is on 05/11/10. Had my down syndrome test last month and the result is at border line. Ask to come back and check baby heart beat and abdomen and had increase my ratio to 1:5000.
Does any1 gyna ask yr hubby to go for blood test? Never heard that hubby had to take blood test. :wong19:

Hi,thanks for the info but I heard dat if baby weight less then 3kg then we can't do cord blood bankin so abit worry lo....and my friends ard mi all put on weight like 10-15kg....hehe but still gd to hear that thou lose weight baby will still be strong and healthy hehe

btw my gynae suggest that i start to apply lotion / cream before stretch mark appears cos once the bb grow and stretch mark appears it will not be reversible ....
so Nov mummy to be ... all can start to apply lotion at tummy area

so u r with tmc?u joining their antenatal classes? I guess I very kiasu cos I apply when I know I am pregnant cos my tummy itchy mah...hehe...but I nv chk with my gynae...I just apply hehe

i oso nt very sure....i tink will teach u how to handle babies....mayb prepare ourself mentally....actuali i am reali nt sure....hehe....nx week i go tmc i go chk it out
