Tan Qiu Lan is now working in a TCM Medical in Nex??

I was seeing Tan Qiu Lan from Teck Chua for a year and drank her brew medication but it didn't help. I heard she is no longer at Teck Chua Medical Hall @ Hougang Ave 5.

She is a nice lady but I think she just gives standard prescription for all her patients.

When you saw Tan Qiu Lan was she able to tell you what was wrong with you? Or what was the medicine for?

Just had a MC and am planning to go see her on recommendation of my massage lady, heard from a friend who also saw her at NEX recently, they had problem making her understand them and them understanding her

Was TTC in end 2008 to early 2009 without success, my wife suggested to see a TCM to "Tiao Sen". Through some recommendations, we went to see Physician Su, she prescribed some medicine supposedly to "warm" the womb. Within the same month, my wife got pregnant, not sure whether it's because the medicine worked or pure coincidence.

After the pregnancy, my wife continued to visit her until end of 2nd trimester. There was one occasion Physician Su spotted the "Mi" not good compared to our last visit and asked whether my wife is having problem sleeping. Indeed it was due to my wife working night job the day before.

My BB is born above 3kg, very alert with APGAR score of 10, and good bone structure. While I can't surely say it's due to TCM, I'll definitely be going back to Physician Su if I am trying my No. 2.

I went to this same TCM and met Dr. Su. It was recommended by my colleague who got pregnant in the same month she visited her.
I managed to conceive on the 2nd month after I visited her (the 1st month my hubby was out stationed for 1 month so we didnt get to try at all).

She is really good and explained what the medicine is for each week. You have to visit her every fornightly.
She charged me $22 for 2 weeks supply of medicine (It is in powder form).
She also treated my hubby who has low sperm count. She charged him $45 for 1 month supply of pills.

She will condition your body to prepare your womb to conceive..

Hi, juz want to share my experience.. Me juz started to visit her at NEX in late aug for gynae problem. Went to look for her cos my fren sis see her 2yrs back n it was good.. But I was kind of disappointed.. She nvr even take my pulse or anything. Juz prescribe herbs based on conversation.. And she didn't take down much notes on 1st visit.. When I returned for 2nd visit. I got to repeat everything..
And like ur fren said- got communication prob.. She don't seem to hear or understand my qn..
Maybe juz me that is unlucky.. But nvr return after 2nd visit..

Now seeing Dr Loh from Thong Ji at her private clinic. Thong ji had 2 Loh 2 Tan. We are seeing the Loh Kim Gek at her private clinic now. At least she seem able to communicate, she insist not prescribing any medication until I went for a test after my next menses and give her the report. Was recommended her by my aunt who was in turn recommended to her by a doctor in Chung Hwa free clinic for some problem. Hoping for the best

Well I think she does specialise in gynea problem because she is part the Thong Chai Free Clinic fertility team. I think the famous team was

Tan Siew Lan , Tan Siew Buoy, Loh Kim Yan, Loh Kim Gek

But i have not found any posting from any of the forums of people seeing her. I am seeing her because of my aunt recommedation. Only report I found of her online was this interview in 2010

Hi Catherine, I am oso under tan Kian sing sinseh, i am with him for abt 2 years and got pregnant twice but one ended in miscarriage, and now had a beautiful DD with the help of him, I remember he say before, eat his medicine oso need to be fated, some ppl just eat a few times will get whereas some even few years oso can't so I think still depends on individual. Abt the cost , nt cheap too, one month I spent abt 200 on medicine and acupuncture, his medicine one packet $7 but need to eat abt 2 weeks then before ovaluation need another type of medicine, see him do acupuncture abt 3 times a mth total add up abt this amount. But still overall he is a gd sinseh, good luck to all the ladies here and baby dust to u and me!!

Haha! Fate indeed! I went to Dr Tan before and he taught me how to feel for the follicles near ovulation time. Nice doc. But he did not make much note of my spotting problem so after one month (impatient me!), I consulted another doc - I must have "yuan" with her cos I got pregnant within a month of seeing her. Miscarried though.. Now I'm overseas but I managed to find a TCM near me who had similar diagnosis as her. I hope I have "yuan" with her as well!

The timing I gave above are Dr Su's schedule.... So she will be there during those timings...
I have never gone there on weekdays so cant comment how long you have to wait...
So far, I have waited abt 45mins on weekends... and another 15 mins to wait for the medicines....
