huh? Doc didn't do ultrascan for you? even though I was suffering from lots of gas as well (farting and burping), she still did the ultrascan for me, they only ask me to keep my bladder full. lol. I saw my baby on the ultrascan on its 5th week.

Im a first time mummy too... but Im already in my 34 weeks
My EDD is 2 November 2009 ...
I was like you didnt know I was pregnant till around my 9 week and I was having fun running & doing my daily exercise...

about the farting, it normal during your early pregnancy but It will go away very soon... try to avoid eating too much onions... it do helps
You next scanning should be normal ultrasound scanning no more scoping... it happens to me too...

Thanks for your well wishes. I was shocked initially as I did not plan for one at this stage. My new flat not ready yet, so thought after moving in next year, then plan for one.
Actually, the specialist did try to scan, but due to too much gas, she could not see my womb clearly. So in the end, she had to scope in and looked at bb.

I did sign up for the down sydrome test. They will draw one tube of blood to see if you are of high/low risk. Then a scan to check on the nasal bone/spinal... I'm going next week for the scan. Heard its similiar to a normal ultrasound scan, just that the doctor will exert slightly harder pressure to see the bb clearly and take some measurements.

Will update you once I go for the scan.

I have went for my down sydrome test today. Like Crystalginal said, it was similar to normal ultrasound scan. My gynase just check on baby's neck and measure its width. Dr Ang said my baby is very healthy with low risk of the down sydrome. However, I still signed up to take the OSCAR blood test. The test report will be out in 5 days.

My EDD has been changed from 15-April-2010 to 10-April-2010. I am now in my 12W5D. My baby's CRL is 6.26cm now. During the scan, I saw him/her moving his/her hands and legs actively, just like dancing...keke...it made me very excited.

Dr Ang said he will check on my baby's gender in my next visit. Don't know it is a boy or girl leh....keke...yeah..we are going to know it in 4 weeks!

Happy to know that your baby is fine and healthy. I just went for my appt last fri. Doc did a scan and my baby is in sleeping postion. She asked me to give a slight cough and my baby woke up. I saw baby moving hands and stretching the legs. Amazing! Haha~ I think everytime I sneeze, the baby will wake up... Sayang sayang! I'm 3wk5d today!

Next week will do the down sydrome test. Hope everything will be fine

My EDD will be about 28th April 2010. My 2nd child...now about 10 weeks. Everyday vomit, sick in the stomach...everything you guys have I also have...constipation...My 1st child now 5 years is not that bad...I think this will be a girl...Next week I be doing my down syndrome scan...hope everything good...I dont drink much water cause no taste...only fruit juice or once a while coke...Hee hee...dont eat much also...Hope all this will pass soon...cause Im from 52kg drop to 48kg...sigh...Moreover I have 2 Fibroids in my stomach...cannot do anything until baby comes out so now my stomach abit bigger than normal...

hi, i aso have fibroids and doctor nv say need to do anything.can i ask shd we take out those after giving birth or can during give birth time too?

My doc told me cannot do anything until after giving birth. After birth it will go smaller, than maybe you can check with your doctor again. Heard from my friend that have a fibroid more than 3 to 4 cm have to take out. But also must see which part of the stomach the fibroid is.

Heard from my doctor that the fibroid will grow alittle by little during your pregnany but it will go dwon once baby comes out.
one of my fibroid grow from 5cm to 6 cm. another only 2cm the last time I check. Should be no problem only your tummy will look bigger than others.
My doc said she got a patient , her fibriod is 13cm...so big...but is ok for her.
No worries, just ask youe friend to check with her.

You take care too...my down syndrome is on 16 this month...so worry now...cause already pass 35....just nice my 3 months. Have been on MC for nearly 1 and half months now. Very bad
morning sickness. Hope is a girl this time.

Good luck and hi to all mummies taking the OSCAR test!

I'm just so relieved now getting the news that my OSCAR and blood tests are fine.. Went for OSCAR scan at thomson's 2 days ago. The sonographer only managed to take measurements on second try cos of bb's position. Was told to hold my bladder till the scan is successful (was tough holding it in)

Anyway, looking forward to next appt when most prob can tell the gender of bb.. Gosh its not easy being preggie.. all the different tests we have to take, waiting time for results..worrying abt minute details etc.

But try to have positive thoughts always

What happen? I thought women lost there baby on the 1st 3 months?
Your EDD is 1 to 2 days later than me...my 28-29 Apr 2010.
And my gynae also Dr KT Tan. We can be neighs in the delivery suite.
