mine is the discomfort at the rib area.. i will have to lie down to relieve the pain..
it feels like someone punch me in my rib area.. and it happens everyday after every meal..
and my gynae is not saying anything ):

Yea..i was wondering too. Is it necessary to take the gucose test? Never say muz take this test at which trimseter also.

I plan to take early as i too tired, everyday can't slp well, morning work, after work rush back fetch my 2 gers frm childcare... Everyday do the same things... Too tiring for me... Can't wait to the day i due... As now i take leave or mc my boss will be unhappy...

You can start taking ML four weeks before due date. Else it's when you deliver but since that day is usually uncertain, employers like to know when, so maybe due date is good if you want to spend max time with baby.. So far, my friends who had natural delivery for first baby were all later than due date - some had to be induced some more cos cannot be too late...

You can take 4 weeks before ur due date, it hard to say u will deliver early or late, my 1st ger is late by 1 week in the end have to induce, my 2nd ger late by 3 days, this 3rd 1, donno will be late again or not... Since u are still working, walk more maybe will be early... My 1st ger i start rest 2 weeks before due, i too lazy so keep saying at home didn't walk more, my 2nd 1, also late, but i try to walk alot lucky only late for 3 days and start dilite it self if not got to induce again... I scare of induce, so painful...

ThankS al0t f0r the feedback... iS juz that my empl0yer keep 0n bugging me aSking me t0 take 10dayS b4 EDD... iS juz that during that tyme iS already GSS & aS u n0e thereS al0t 0f buying p0wer.. S0 g0tta walk m0re& ruSh... haiz... i Scared by then i g0t n0 energy & might p0p in the St0re..
& al0t 0f pe0ple Say my tummy quite huge.. argh... am S0 Scared... btw, i t0t i wanna induce if by 38 weekS my baby never c0me 0ut.. iS it riSky?? What iS actually the pr0cedure 0f induce?? C0z S0 far aS t0 date.. i gain like 25kg lia0... baby i think abt 1kg already...

C0z my SiSter juz gave birth 1 mth back at 37weekS 4dayS... thatS her 2nd baby... her 1St 1 She p0p at 37weekS 3dayS... her water bag leaked while SheS w0rking... i dunn0e whether will f0ll0w the geneS 0r n0t... really Scary le...

Well.. depends on your family history... My gynae suggest i take the test..
Normally it is suggested to take the test around 24 to 28 weeks..

I'm taking my ML on 26th June, my EDD is on 12th July. As my company's cut off date (for pay) is on 26th, more convenient for them to calculate my pay also. Haha!!

I am starting my maternity leave early. Edd is 30 June but since I need to fly back before 35 weeks I am stopping work from may day onwards. Back to do all last min shopping. Tomorrow will be hitting 28 weeks, v fast! Baby is now v active in stomach keep on Karate inside. Braxton hicks also v obvious. Sleep is getting more and more difficult as baby will kick me when I lie on my left. Right is ok but still v uncomfortable.

I read somewhere that most pple will give birth on 38 weeks, and 40weeks is full term which is our EDD. For my case, my company needs me to give advance notice so I chose to take earlier. If not just wait for waterbag to burst lor. :p

If can better to wait for baby due to come out, for 30+ weeks is still ok for baby but if u are not overdue, don think gynea will wan to induce... For me when i first induce is really very painful, in 2006 i admit in the morning to induce, my baby is overdue by 1 weeks. Mid night 2+ then in labour coz got blood... I try not taking epidural so i endure till morning and at least i cannot ta han liao coz been so long and not deliver yet, i even scold my hubby... My hubby no choice let me take epidural then at least i can slp if not i didn't slp the whole night coz of the pain...

After that i scare of induce, i been trying to walk alot when i am going to due so i don't need to induce anymore... Everyone is diff so i not so sure... Lucky my 2nd ger was late by 3 days and went in to labour as it dilite it self so don need induce... Do walk more for the last mths... I take 3 hrs in labour for my 2nd ger without epidural... This time also opt w/o epidural... Hope can be faster...

Hey mummies, how's this brand new week starting out for everyone? :)

Mine started with three hours at the clinic - only saw doctor (actually her intern!) for 10 minutes. Also had my glucose test done - they took three tubes of blood! After the first tube, I thought it was done and I looked down - regretted it, cos I'm quite scared to see the needle poked into my skin..

3 tube? I only took 1 tubes of blood for my blood test...
