Icic i guess its for tat...anyway i finished the course alreadyGBS is Group B Streptococcus. it is a kind of bacteria that can affect baby esp during natural birth that is why need antibotics...but in some case normally doc will give the mtb option to C sect
Lol ya...can 'escape' alot of duties at work lolso agree.. i miss my pregnant belly so much now i always find myself looking at others' pregnant belly with envy..
especially wen i'm feeling fat.. LOL.. coz being preggy gives me an excuse to be fat.. and wen you are pregnant or heavily pregnant, i always feels like people are extra friendly, kind and approachable to me..
Go for 2nd one then...Haha... same as me... i always see preggy lady with that tummy.. i envy them too... hubby always ask me.. is it you miss preggy? i say YES.... ancing_wub:
Glad tat its over for u! God bless!Yeap long labour for me.. Coz my cervix just wouldn't dilate.. I almost thought that i will end up having C-sec =x
ur gynae is right. if ur bb has not engage, even u induce, the chances of u going to emergency c-sect is higher. IMHO, i always feel tt induce is not a good choice if ur bb is doing well inside, if u dont have any medical issue, cos afterall induce is to FORCE the contractions to come, and not naturally. (correct me if i'm wrong) =)Just went for check up. Today my gynae help me do a scan. As usual, i complaint my tumny super big, thats y he did a scan and see. My baby currently is almost 3kg n everything is fine. Still got lots of water for him to 'swim' inside. Blood pressure n urine test all ok...then of cos i ask gynae how's the chances of induce...he say he dont recommend induction unless gt medical reason, then he added if baby too big by next week then consider induce. He say baby have not engaged yet so he cannot be sure if induce now will be successful or not. He say if now baby wants to come out naturally, its fine cos he is full term baby . Hubby also ask me dont induce..
Ok i will try...am trying now... thanks for yr advice...allos juz17,
its kinda strange your gynae doesn't do scan for you every visit. Hve you tried asking for it?Usually if your under package, its included inside. Anyway, i won't advice to ask to be induced if theres no serious reasons. In a way, a reputable gynae will know when should you be induced. For my case, when i had my first boy, my gynae adviced me to be induced as my boy showed no signs of wanting to come out even at 39th wk, so in the end we chose to induce 2 days before 40th week.
I know its not ez during then last lap, but just hang in there ya? Im almost at 37weeks now too , always perspiring even after bath, also not sure hw i would react if waterbag burst or if I 'show' or if it will be the same case as with my first boy, have to induce, but i thk it will be a good experience and worthwhile experience. Hang in there, gal. Just need to know your not alone
Eh...sigh...yes 3 more wks...I heard induced labour is very painful one.. Most of the gynae I guess will encourage induced only if the baby gets too big.. Some complications or over your edd .. Actually you only 37 weeks still can wait 3 more weeks
Ok guess i can only wait till next week see wat my gynae say..thanks agajnyour gynae is right. if your baby has not engage, even you induce, the chances of you going to emergency c-sect is higher. Lol frm 'swee' i noe its u le la! Haha who will use tis nick since ages back...lol irc days??both my girls were induced. elder one dont't want to come out, gynae suggested induce.. 2nd one hubby going overseas reservist around my edd so got to get her out early. (Why never defer? Long Story) Both morning induce, evening time come out.
elder one, I never have epi.. but I cannot take it for my 2nd one and gotten 1... so not true that induced labour confirmed more painful. I think every pregnancy is different.. I was super energetic.. all the way to my 41th weeks... orchard shopping almost everyday.. my 2nd one, all I want to do is to stay at home.
anyway you guess who i am.. my elder girl is named Joi, and my 2nd chubby girl is named Joey.
:tlaugh:
er... maybe i should rephrase.. go orchard window shopping everyday.. anyway my point is not every pregnanacy is the same and induced labour may not be super painful..Lol frm 'swee' i know its you ! Haha who will use tis nick since ages back...lol irc days??
your hubby rich tats y can go orchard shopping...now i felt terrible doing nothing at home...can only wait n wait. Anyway gynae say next week check dilation then see need to induce or not...sigh
I guess u r right nt all pregnancy are the same...im leaving the decision to my gynae n god le...think until i tired le...er... maybe i should rephrase.. go orchard window shopping everyday.. anyway my point is not every pregnanacy is the same and induced labour may not be super painful..
Keke...thks! But i really wan a more natural way to give birth...no induce, no drip, no epidural...jus feels the contraction getting more & more intense...den admits to hospital n give birth! Lolz..!I guess its not easy being a woman. Anyway you delivered yr baby the natural way already! tats a good job done! Induce for medical reason for yr case is a must cos 40 weeks already. I will take yr experience as a learning pt here.. take care...
Wah very 'fear factor' lei!! Lol i scare stiff now...anyhow gt chance de!!Keke...thks! But i really want a more natural way to give birth...no induce, no drip, no epidural...just feels the contraction getting more & more intense...then admits to hospital n give birth! Lolz..!
Ya dialate until certain measurement cannot take epi le...my gynae oso male but when he ask me wan epi or nt i say yes..i gt low threshold of pain too...wish me luck..:i ever thought of going w/o epidural for number 2, but abit worried i may have low threshold for such pain ahahha....dont want to make it an unpleasant birthing experience also. Shall c how. I rem during my recent visit to the gynae, he seemed to put it across to me in a matter of factly manner that most would opt for epidural ahahha. My gynae is a male .... but i guess ultimately if opt not to have epidural, just pray hard that it won't be too long a labour....cos the moment dilate 6cm i thk, if ask for epidural also cannot laio
Tmc.. Their food is yummy..I guess you r right not all pregnancy are the same...im leaving the decision to my gynae n god ...think until i tired ...
Btw you delivered where ??
