Hi everyone. Pleased to "e-meet" all of you.

#1 due late sept to early oct - so I kinda fall in the cusp. Fingers crossed all will be good

Has any mummies changed gynae mid way at week 15? I am thinking of seeing another gynae just to get a 'feel' before I sign on a package.

Welcome littlej! I've got a friend who switched gynae midway. I think if you are having a healthy pregnancy, switching should be ok!

I suddenly felt a hard lump in the centre above my pelvic bone. And when I touched again a few seconds later, it disappeared!! I think that was the baby!!! But I cannot feel any movements/ flutters/ bubbles yet. So freaky but cool!! Hahaha! Now cannot sleep already. Too excited. LOL

Yea, that's when you lie down facing up. Then when i shift to the side, no longer feel the lump. I thought it's the fundus of our uterus. hmmmm

Yes you can provided you don't have like complications. If you do,it will be hard to follow up by another gynae don't you think? But personally I'll change if my heart tells me to regardless of complications or not=) So yes, go ahead=) Be happy!

WHY CONFINEMENT CENTERS?

Confinement centre is an ideal place for postpartum moms to stay and rest during their confinement period. Hi all.mummies to be! Thanks for the feedback regarding which cereals to eat.

I'm into my 19th week and doing my detailed scan next week! Hubby and I can't wait to know lil one's gender.

And I also feel that I have put on too much mass at the tummy that I can't feel the baby's kick yet. Haha. Oops.

I put on 3-5 kg! In the mornings when I first wake up, I put on 3kg from pre-pregnancy weight. But by night, I somehow become 2kg heavier!!

5kg.I'm watching my weight. Gynae afraid of something else but it's just my appetite. 4 times rice. with chicken, fish, eggs, beef whatever i can swallow. I'm just hungry and I don't eat smaller meals now.I just consume more than usual. =( My blood pressure rises too.Should decrease by right by a little during 2nd trimester=( I'm naturally low blood pressure because I'm anaemic.

Can't be so fast within 1 day. That could be amniotic fluid giving you the weight if your not eating that much lar. Sudden rise in amniotic is normal.and your uterus growing so much from 1st trimester to 2nd trimester that also may explain the wt gain suddenly.

You'll be surprise that he/she may be much more active=) Usually week 20 you can feel. I can no longer sleep well now. Sudden jerk in the tummy. Kick on my bladder.Last for a period of 20 min on and off. I wonder at 27 weeks or so=(....It will be painful for my bladder.

I suspect it's water retention! Cos my toes and fingers will swell in the evenings and at night. And I pee more at night. Cos by next morning, I'm back to gaining only 2kg and stomach is not so bloated.

First pregnancy weight till now, I have gained about 2kgs only. I read this doctor's article online that we should continue our regular portions and not eat for two coz e baby in our stomach is so small it can't possibly eat one whole portion!hehe! ^_^ Must control; Mummies¡¡ Coz we still must "maintain" during and after pregnancy!

Although I m in wk16 but my appetite still has not fully regain, I m still eating small portion for dinner although my vomit has improved .. M I normal ?
